Hilly, many blind shots, greens fair but tough, scenic, grounds well maintained, excellent staff, reasonable green fees. Good experience, fun and enjoyable. Highly recommend.
Fun course to play
As always, a great course to play and very friendly staff. Always look forward to playing Kimball. Course is well kept up and fun to play. Is good to get away from the city courses. Worth the travel time to get to Kimball.
This is a true hidden gem. The layout is very nice. Most holes have big wide fairways. If you’ve never played the course, you really need to. If you have played it before, you need to go back.
Challenge is worth the drive
This was my second trip to the course in the last two weeks. Every year, we try to play on at least one course we’ve never played before. I like the challenges it brings, and when it forces you to make a good shot to avoid trouble. Overall, this course has given me a new place to want to play more often, and the staff has been a pleasure to deal with. Thank you!
All I can say is Wow!
Beautiful course in excellent condition. Greens putted very well. Great attention to detail throughout the whole course. The only part I don’t understand there was hardly anyone out there on a gorgeous Friday morning. That darn hole 15 and 16 got me again.
Greens were fast and undulating but in perfect shape.
Gem in a small town
All around great. Fun and challenging course with lots of undulations. Well kept fairways and greens. You must play Kimball if you are near it.
Worth the trip
Always able to get on course at time that works for us. Course is always well taken care of. Personnel are very friendly, and so are the members that we have talked to or played with.
Very nice course with great scenery, staff was very welcoming!
Great value, fun course
Grew up in St. Cloud but never ventured out to Kimball until now. Don’t really hear people talk about the course too much which is a shame as it is a hidden gem. The course is beautiful with a lot of hills and mature trees which makes for a lot of different types of shots throughout the day. They even have an island green which is always fun. Bottom line, if you’re in Central MN you should give this place a try.
