At 12:03 a.m., Saturday, Dec. 26, the Meeker County Sheriff’s received a burglary alarm notification from the ACGC High School in Grove City. Deputies responded and set a perimeter around the building. Deputies did a thorough search of the building and located two people on the roof. Dean Peterson, 42 of Litchfield, and his son Prestin Peterson, 18, were taken into custody for burglary. Through investigation it was determined these same individuals were identified as the suspects for two prior burglaries at the school on Nov. 14 and Dec. 5. Both are being held in the Meeker County Jail pending formal charges on all three burglaries. They were expected to make a first appearance in Meeker County District Court Monday, Dec. 28.
