Snow removal was discussed, along with the MnDOT contract for snow removal along Highway 15. The city will first get prices from area contractors.

Crosswalks on Highway 15 (at Hazel Ave. and Spruce Ave.), as part of next summer’s MnDOT construction project, were discussed, but no decision made yet.

The council approved variance for a wall sign for the north wall of the new Kimball Public Library.

An anonymous Good Samaritan paid a delinquent water bill for a Kimball homeowner. The council commended this as a very generous, wonderful, neighborly thing to do.

The council approved three resolutions for CARES Act expenses.

The next regular meeting of the Kimball city council will be at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 10. Meetings are livestreamed and archived on the city’s official Facebook page.
