Pauline Beumer, 96


Pauline Beumer died Tuesday, Sept. 15, 2020, at Savanna Prairie Assisted Living in Kimball. She was 96.

Private Mass of Christian Burial will be held Tuesday, Sept. 22, at St. Mary Help of Christians in St. Augusta with Rev. Matthew Crane officiating. Burial will be in the parish cemetery. Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Monday, Sept. 21, and after 10 a.m. Tuesday, both at the church.

Pauline A. Klinkner was born July 13, 1924, in Stearns County to John and Theresa (Waltzing) Klinkner. She married William Beumer on May 14, 1946, at St. Rita Parish in Hilman, Minn. She was a member of St. Mary Help of Christians parish, and the St. Augusta Legion Auxiliary and Christian Mothers. She enjoyed playing cards, spending time in her garden, quilting, and baking. She was an amazing cook who always had something to eat for those who stopped by. Pauline was also a very skilled seamstress, often making clothing for many family members. She will be dearly missed by all.

Pauline was preceded in death by her husband William in 2007, her parents, brother Clarence, and granddaughter Jennifer.

She is survived by her children Laura (and Roger) Gertken of Avon, Michael Beumer of Watkins, Loran (and Ruth) Beumer of Isanti, and Allan Beumer of St. Augusta; five grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren; sisters Bernice Klinkner and Jeanette Stellmach, and brother Virgil Klinkner.

The family would like to express a special “thank you” to Savanna Prairie for their wonderful care of Pauline. Arrangements have been entrusted to Williams Dingmann Funeral Homes of St. Cloud.
