Registration now open for 2018 SFA Annual Conference, Midwest Soil Health Summit

The Sustainable Farming Association is proud to announce that registration is now open for our two signature conferences: the 2018 SFA Annual Conference and the 2018 Midwest Soil Health Summit.

First, the 2018 SFA Annual Conference is set for 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Feb. 10, at the College of Saint Benedict in St. Joseph, and Super Early Bird registration is just $50 through Dec. 31, for current SFA members. As usual, we are tailoring the conference sessions around the wishes of the SFA community, asking the public to vote on potential session topics through Sept. 30.

Next is ?Äúthe best conference I?Äôve ever attended,?Äù aka the 2018 SFA Midwest Soil Health Summit, set for Feb. 14-15 at Bigwood Event Center in Fergus Falls. The speaker slate is still being compiled, but currently confirmed speakers include Dr. Allen Williams, SFA?Äôs Kent Solberg, David Bartok of Quorum Labs, Cody Nelson of Prairie Creek Seed, NRCS soil health specialist Justin Morris, retired USDA soil scientist Don Riecorski, NRCS researcher Ann Marie Journey, and NDSU researcher Doug Landblom. Also returning are the popular discussion tables, loads of built-in networking time, and more. Cost is just $100 for SFA members and $150 for nonmembers; scholarships are available for ag service professionals, agency employees and crop consultants.
